Fabricius Anna: Mandarin nő

A Robert Capa Kortárs Fotográfiai Központ tisztelettel meghívja Önt és barátait Fabricius Anna Mandarin nő című kiállításának megnyitójára 2018. augusztus 27-én, hétfőn, 18 órára.

„Fabricius Anna fotográfus témaválasztásaiban visszatérő motívumként jelennek meg a női szerepek, tevékenységek, attribútumok vizsgálatai. Az elmúlt két évben tett ázsiai utazásai során érdeklődése a fiatalok gyors stílus- és öltözékváltásain, a fogyasztási cikkek cseréin keresztül megfigyelhető öndefiníciója, újfajta identitáskeresése felé fordult. A Mandarin nő című kiállítás darabjai elsősorban Sanghajban, a kínai divatfővárosban készültek. Sorozata fókuszában ruhák, kiegészítők, viseletek és stílusok állnak, mégsem divatfotókat láthatunk. Munkái megkomponáltak, Fabricius mégsem a szigorúan vett »staged« (megrendezett) fotó eszköztárával dolgozik, hiszen a kvázi megrendezettségben mindig nagy teret hagy a véletlenek, az esetlegességek játékának.” (Gellér Judit kurátor)

Opening remarks by: Meimei Ding Founder & CEO, DFO International

“The examination of female roles, activities and attributes is a recurring theme in the subject choices of the photographer Anna Fabricius. During her travels to Asia over the past two years, her attention turned towards the younger generations’s self-definition and new kind of search for an identity perceived through their changes of style, clothing, and consumer goods. The pieces of the Mandarin Woman exhibition were mostly taken in Shanghai, the fashion capital of China. The series focuses on clothes, accessories, attires and styles, yet this is not fashion photography. Her works are composed, but Fabricius still does not work with the toolkit of staged photography in the strict sense, as the quasi-staging always leaves considerable space for chance, the play of randomness.” (Judit Gellér curator)
